We received a call from a very nice old lady who mentioned weird noises coming from the opener while she was pushing the open button on her remote. We tried troubleshooting her problem over the phone but without any success, she asked us to come and check it. Here’s a picture of the opener: As you can see the gears inside the opener were completely worn. This is a very dangerous case because this could cause the garage door to fall from the top and break her car while leaving the garage door. We had 2 options, replacing the opener or finding parts for the old one. There were not any parts on the market since it was a 15 years old opener so we had to replace it.She was very happy with the repair, so were we, ANOTHER HAPPY CUSTOMER 🙂

As always we tried troubleshooting the problem over the phone. Many times these 2 signs are an indicate to worn out rollers. In this case we highly recommend to replace all the rollers because failing to replace them will cause a much more expensive damage in the long run.
